About Worcester County health assessments and health improvement plans:

The Worcester County community health assessment (CHA) and community health improvement plan (CHIP) are developed by Worcester County Health Department with the assistance and advice of the Worcester County Health Planning Advisory Council.

Input is also sought from sister health and human services partners, the business community and residents through special meetings, other (usually disease/condition-focused) boards, councils and task forces.

Meeting Schedule for Worcester Health Planning Advisory Council:

The council meets the third Thursday of the month at 8:30 a.m. at the health department in Snow Hill. The council meets about six times a year.
