Worcester Health prepares to offer boosters for all available COVID-19 vaccines

The Worcester County Health Department--pending written guidance from federal agencies--will be offering appointments for Moderna and Johnson & Johnson booster shots for COVID-19 vaccines beginning Monday, October 25. Pfizer booster shots are already available.
 
WCHD will be providing booster doses of Moderna and J/J vaccine once we receive written guidance from the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices. We anticipate being able to offer appointments for these COVID-19 booster shots to those eligible as early as next week. We have clinics scheduled for currently available vaccines and will add the newly authorized vaccines upon receipt of written guidance.

Worcester Health offers new Diabetes Support Group

Snow Hill, MD- Don’t let diabetes get you down this autumn. The Worcester County Health Department (WCHD) is offering free diabetes support group sessions starting in November for those living with diabetes. The sessions are offered monthly every third Wednesday, from 1-2 pm at the Snow Hill Library.
