Peer Recovery Service
Peer Recovery Specialists are indviduals in long term recovery who provide one on one support and motivation to assist people on their journey to recovery. Peer Recovery Support Specialists share their own experiences, model the transformative power of recovery, provide guidance, and recovery education. Peer Recovery Specialists are knowledgeable of resources available to individuals and for their families. Peers will assist individual in breaking through barriers to recovery and will broaden options for all levels of treatment including sober housing and even employment.

Worcester County Peer Support Warmline is hosted through the Worcester County Health Department.
This line is for individuals who have non-urgent substance misuse needs in Worcester County. The warm line
is maintained by Peer Recovery Specialists who are able to provide Peer Support services over the phone.
