Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)
The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) assists youth and adults, who have a qualifying mental illness by offering community-based and in-home services that enhance skills related to daily living. These skills include financial, communication, social, medical, mental health, addictions, and other areas as appropriate. Services vary based on age and need. Individuals under 18 are eligible for services 3 times a month. Adults 18 and older are eligible for services 6 times a month. We also provide specialized services specific to Transitional Age Youth (TAY). HOVER HERE
Rehabilitation coordinators link people to federal, state, and local resources to reduce the need for a higher level of care. Services include but are not limited to: assessments, individualized planning, monitoring of services, referral/linkage to resources and advocacy. PRP is for Medicaid recipients who are engaged in mental health therapy at least two times each month. Therapy does not need to be within our agency but will need to be verified and communication between the PRP worker and the therapist is required.
