Snow Hill, MD- For those living with diabetes, the Worcester County Health Department sponsors a no cost monthly diabetes support group in Pocomoke and Snow Hill.
The support groups meet the third week of each month at 1pm on Wednesdays at the Snow Hill Library, 307 N. Washington Street and at 11 am on Thursdays at the Pocomoke 50 plus Center, 400 Walnut Street, Suite B.
The support group helps those with diabetes to make connections, share coping strategies, discover healthy meal ideas, identify ways to be more physically active, and learn more about how to manage diabetes. The group is facilitated by a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist who provides the information to help individuals manage their diabetes.
