Breathe Easy this summer with Worcester Health’s Quit Smoking/Vaping Classes

Snow Hill, MD- Quit smoking or vaping this summer with the help of the Worcester County Health Department’s free Quit Smoking/Vaping Classes. Youth and adult sessions are available at locations throughout the county.

Trained instructors will help break the nicotine addiction by focusing on topics like stress management, assertive communication, creating a quit plan, relapse prevention, and more.

Join one of the Quit Smoking/Vaping classes starting next month:

Adult Classes:

  • Tuesdays, 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m, (July 7, 2026 - September 22, 2026) at the Pocomoke Health Center, 400-A Walnut St. 

  • Wednesdays, 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., (July 8, 2026 - September 23, 2026) at the Berlin Health Center, 9730 Healthway Dr.

  • Thursdays, 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., (July 9, 2026 - September 24, 2026) at the Snow Hill Health Department, 6040 Public Landing Rd. 

Distance learning options are available upon request.

Youth Classes:

  • Mondays, 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., (July 6, 2026 - September 21, 2026) held virtually.

“No matter how long you’ve smoked or vaped, there are health benefits to quitting,” said Crystal Bell, Chronic Disease and Tobacco Supervisor at the Worcester County Health Department. “If you’re thinking about quitting, we want them set up for success by enrolling in our free smoking cessation program. We want residents to know we are here to help them through their quit journey.”
