Snow Hill, MD- Bring your family together while adopting a healthier lifestyle with the Worcester County Health Department’s Strengthening Families program.
This 9-week program uses an evidence-based curriculum to help strengthen your family bond and communication through group learning and activities. The program is designed for youth ages 7-17 and their parents/guardians to attend together.
Sessions are two hours per week over the 9-week program, including a free family dinner at the start of every session. Your family will have the opportunity to receive prizes and other incentives for participating in the program. Topics covered include: how to communicate better, healthy behaviors, managing stress, and other skills to strengthen the family connection. As a result of participating in this program, past participants said their families would continue to "Be better at communicating with each other and plan to spend more time with one another each week."

Pocomoke High School, (1817 Old Virginia Rd, Pocomoke City, MD 21851) - Begins Thursday, January 15th, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Childcare for children under 7 will be available for children registered.
