Strengthen your family with Worcester Health’s spring session of Healthy Worcester Families

Snow Hill, MD - Get the whole family involved in adopting a healthier lifestyle with the Worcester County Health Department’s program Healthy Worcester Families.

This 9-week program uses an evidence-based curriculum to help strengthen the family bond and communication through group learning and activities. The program is designed for youth ages 7-17 and their parents/guardians to attend together. 

Sessions are two hours per week over the 9-week program, and a free family dinner will be provided at the start of every session. Families have the opportunity to receive prizes and other incentives for participating in the program. Topics covered will include communication skills, healthy behaviors, financial literacy, and other skills to strengthen the family connection.

The spring session will begin Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the Pocomoke Health Center (400-A Walnut Street, Pocomoke, MD 21851).
