Worcester Health Offers Cooking Up Health Food Preservation and Nutrition Class in Berlin

Snow Hill, MD – The Worcester County Health Department, in partnership with the University of Maryland Extension and the Worcester County Library, is pleased to announce a Cooking Up Health class will be offered in Berlin.

This no-cost program will teach participants valuable skills related to healthy eating, food budgeting, financial management, growing their own food, preparing nutritious meals, and food preservation.

Cooking Up Health will be held on Mondays, starting November 10, 2025, at the Berlin Library, located at 13 Harrison Ave. Berlin, MD. Classes will run weekly from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., concluding on December 15, 2025. Participants will receive weekly incentives to help them apply their new cooking, healthy eating, and food preservation knowledge.
