Worcester Health updates COVID-19 Vaccination Wait List

New system designed to simplify the process and prioritize elderly


Snow Hill, MD– This week the Worcester County Health Department is updating how it registers individuals for COVID-19 vaccine clinics. There is now a single central waiting listing that includes all clinics operated by Worcester Health. To register for this waiting list, call 667-253-2140. Due to limited vaccine supply, we do not expect to post Worcester County Health Department clinics onto MarylandVax.org for the next several weeks.

COVID-19 Testing Canceled Monday, Feb. 1

Good afternoon,

Due to inclement weather, COVID-19 testing scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, February 1 at the Pocomoke Health Department has been canceled. Anyone with an existing appointment will be notified with information on how to reschedule testing for Wednesday.

Atlantic General Hospital and Worcester Health Sponsor Go Red for Women 2021

Snow Hill, Maryland- Atlantic General Hospital and the Worcester County Health Department are proud to announce that they are partnering to sponsor Worcester County Go Red for Women. The campaign will focus on raising awareness among women about heart disease, risk factors, signs/symptoms, and steps you can take to reduce your risk for developing heart disease. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event will be virtual and includes a week-long social media campaign dedicated to educating women about risk factors for heart disease and simple steps you can take to reduce your risk. During the week of February 1- February 5, 2021, Atlantic General Hospital’s and Worcester Health’s social media will feature educational videos promoting heart health.
